Round valves features

Valves are available in standard or custom sizes and a wide range of operatives temperature, materials, tightness level and sealing capacity.

GENERAL FEATURESI:
•  Sizes up to 1500 mm of diameter (special realisation on customer request)

Control and feeback types

The valve can give the feedback signal with 0-10V o 4-20 mA. Based on the chosen actuator, there are different ways to control the valve:

VALVE FEATURES - MODELS

Round valve mono series (Ø up to 400 mm)

Control and compartmentalisation valve executed with calendered body, entirely welded, with thickness of 3mm, varying with pressure classes P, with flange of 5 mm thickness for each pressure class, laser cut with 0,1 mm precision for coupling.
Single shaft with handling on holder lubricated with greasers.
On the opposite side, the shaft is guided by a precision sleeve. The compartmentalisation flat of 3 mm thickness on pressure classes, removable and replaceble, is coupled with the milled shaft with support surface for a correct handling.
Seal seats (3mm thick / each pressure class) are welded to the body with continuous double welding.
The headframe is integrated with the valve’s flange on the same metal sheet to guarantee the best coupling possible.
The drive head is combined with the body through fixing screws, highly resistant, in self-locking execution.Come back Rimor valves models

Round valve double series (Ø from 401 to 1500 mm)

Control and compartmentalisation valve executed with calendered body, entirely welded, with thickness of 3mm, varying with pressure class P, with flange of 5 mm thickness for each pressure class, laser cut with 0,1 mm precision for coupling.

Round valve Atex series: (Ø up to 1500 mm)

Control and compartmentalisation valve executed with calendered body, entirely welded, with thickness of 3/8 mm with flange up to 15 mm thickness, laser cut with 0,1 mm precision for coupling.
Single shaft with handling on double holder lubricated with greasers.
The compartmentalisation flat of 3/8 mm thickness, removable and replaceable, is coupled with the milled shaft with support surface for a correct handling.
Based on the temperature, pressure and size the flat is properly reinforced.
The Atex performance is guaranteed by the inclusion of a stop collar on the aluminium flat.
Seal seats of 3/12mm thickness are welded to the body with continuous double welding.
The headframe is integrated with the valve’s flange on the same metal sheet to guarantee the best coupling possible.

SEAL CLASSES

Based on the flat/seats seal requirements and on the operative conditions, Rimor fulfil round valves with the following seal classes: (flat-blue, seat-grey)

0 Type
The valve is designed without seal seat.
The tolerance between the valve body and the flat is contained to 0,01% of the diameter and guarantees a circle tolerance in a precise class (tolerance 0,001%). The flat has a perpendicular tolerance of +- 0,01% of diameter and guarantees a correct air regulation with minimum effort on the actuator, thanks to the correspondence of the opposite forces with the same couple on the shaft.Come back Rimor valves models

The surface roughness of the contact body guarantees the seal class while the treatment of the surface hardness allows the performance repetition over time. The seats are welded with MIG/TIG seam welding that ensures the correct surface tolerance.
The seats are placed in order to guarantee the seal class of the shaft ring.
The tolerance between valve’s body and flat is contained to 0,01 of diameter and guarantees a circle tolerance in a precise class (tolerance 0,001%). The flat has a perpendicular tolerance of +- 0,01%of the diameter and that ensures a correct air regulation with minimum effort on the actuator thanks to the correspondence of the opposite forces with the same couple on the shaft.

Metal II  type
With the Metal II seal, it is guaranteed a KVs < 0,5 coefficient through a metal seat with reinforcement.
Metal III type
With the Metal III seal, it is guaranteed a KVs < 0,1 coefficient through CNC machines process of the flat and seat.Come back Rimor valves models

Packing type class III

The seats are processed for packing housing on which the flat acts during the valve’s closure. The tolerance between the valve’s body and the flat is contained to 0,01% diameter and ensures a circle tolerance in a precise class (tolerance 0,001%).The flat has a perpendicular tolerance of +-0,01% of diameter and guarantees a correct air regulation with minimum effort on the actuator actuator thanks to the correspondence of the opposite forces with the same couple on the shaft.
The type of packing used is replaceable (PTFE – Kevlar – Graphite –Ceramic Fibre) and varies according to the fluid temperature and pressure that crosses the valve. Come back Rimor valves models

Fluxal type (for seals)

Valve and seats are designed to insufflate gas. The gas insufflation to the seat passes through orifice plates placed on the seat with a variable geometry, verified with simulation software and guarantees the safety compartmentalisation. The tolerance between the valve’s body and the flat is contained to 0,01% of diameter and ensures a circle tolerance in a precise class (tolerance 0,001%).The flat has a perpendicular tolerance of +-0,01% of diameter and guarantees a correct air regulation with minimum effort on the actuator thanks to the correspondence of the opposite forces with the same couple on the shaft. Cleaner type (for seats cleaning)

The valve is built with robust seats. The valve is designed to insufflate gas used to maintain clean the support between flat and seat in case of material accumulation. The orifice plates are realised on the valve’s body with laser cut and dimensioned/placed following a variable geometry verified with simulation softwares. The tolerance between the valve’s body and the flat is contained to 0,01% of diameter and ensures a circle tolerance in a precise class (tolerance 0,001%).The flat has a perpendicular tolerance of +-0,01% of diameter and guarantees a correct air regulation with minimum effort on the actuator thanks to the correspondence of the opposite forces with the same couple on the shaft. Handling through handwheel gearbox. The reduction gear size is based on the moving flat size and on the contrast fluid pressure. Everything will be verified and processed through simulation softwaresPadlockable version is available. The gear is handled on lube-for-life bearings. LEVER

Handling through manual lever with stop for the opening regulation.

The lever sizing is based on the valve’s size, pressure and temperature. The lever block is made by a plastic bolt with clutch support. Bearing handling avoids any valve lockage and the indicators ensure the correct position. Come back Rimor valves models

PNEUMO LINEAR

Handling through linear pneumatic piston on bushing and precision seals (implementable with RID) with spherical bearing on the coupling.
The body is made of anti-corrosion material and the piston is easy to maintain due to the tightening bolts that guarantee an easy access to the piston inner body. Come back Rimor valves models

PNEUMO ROTO series: ALUMINIUM-STAINLESS-TECHNOPOLYMER-POLYPROPYLENE

Handling through rotative pneumatic piston. According to the regulation necessity it is possible to install the rotating piston: in a quarter turn; with simple or double effect 0° - 180°; in three positions 0° - 90° - 45° (adjustable) with simple or double version. Drive is supplied with precision gears and electro-pneumatic valves in order to ensure less than 1% error. Come back Rimor valves models

ELECTRO LINEAR

Handling through linear electric piston.

According to the regulation necessity it is possible to install the rotating electric gears:

CONTROL AND FEEDBACK TYPES

La valvola può dare il segnale di retroazione con 0-10V o 4-20 mA. Il segnale è protetto EMC con potenza idoneo alle lunghe distanze. Il comando di retroazione è garantito contro i disturbi impulsivi. Per lunghe distanze è consigliato il 4-20 mA (sopra i 50 metri)

The steel body with GAS precision profile and locknuts ensure a precise connection.

MECHANIC

With contacts protected from corrosion, contact wheel on precicion bushings coupled to system with degree accuracy IP 67.
The contact is certified for 8 mln cycles.

OUTWARDS SEAL SYSTEMS

0 TYPE Seal on spring packing

Through the packing compression is achieved a 99,99% sealing. The system is realised through a body in Fe 360 or superior materials, processed to compress a soft body and easily changeble. The regulation direction is linear (not rotative) and precise thanks to the galvanized screws. The seal welding is continuos and garantees a perfect seal of the certified weldings. FLUXED TYPE

Nitrogen (N2) or other gas (air) fluxed seal. The seal has an air input that is distributed on the entire circumference thanks to the internal perforated chamber. The seal towards the valve is guaranteed according to the pressure of the precision sleeve. Grease fluxed seal. In the chamber is introduced under pressure a quantity of grease that ensures the perfect compartmentalisation outwards. The seal is equipped with precision sleeves. Come back Rimor valves models

SECURITY AND EMERGENCY SYSTEMS

PNEUMO SAFE Valve with pneumatic closing system

The system permits the flat activation in absense of electricity and/or compressed air. The pneumatic circuit is realised with certified components. It is equipped with automatic filling of the tank and guarantees 2 complete movements of the pneumatic actuation.
The circuit is placed inside an IP 68 cabinet and the quick connectors are easily accessible.
The pneumatic circuit is automatic and complete with electic drive; the automation is possible without electric drive or driven by NA or NC electric signal. It guarantees a drive speed of 1s with closing system to 100% of the maximum pneumatic power of the piston. Can be combined to a pneumatic position piston. Come back Rimor valves models

SAFE ELECTRIC Valve with electric closing system

The system permits the valve activation in absense of electricity and/or compressed air. The electric circuit, complete of redudancy, ensures the correct alimentation of the drive. The circuit is complete of certified relay and the cables are protected by IP 68 protection range.
The circuit is placed inside an IP 68, suitable for outdoor installation. The system ensure a correct opening/closing for at least 5 times. Come back Rimor valves models

VALVES DESCRIPTION

DIVERTER

3 ways valve with single input and double output with removable handling plate with monoblock system, driven on the support frame connected to the flange.
The body is entirely welded with sheet of 3 mm thickness + 3 mm / pressure class – internal plate 3 mm thick + 3 mm / pressure class – flanges of 5 mm thickness + 3 mm / pressure class.
Seal seat entirely welded through continuos system in order to ensure the seal and a linear tolerance of +-0,1 mm compared to the plate’s thickness of 3 mm + 3 mm / pressure class. Come back Rimor valves models

INVERTER

4 output valve realised with customer’s collaboration, limited to compost sector use.
The system allows the flow reversal so that a single ventilator is enough to generate a flow from point A to B or from point B to C.
Is made by an internal double plate, cable with internal shaft and double body.

SQUARE VALVES

Series of square valves with high thickness realised with esternal frame with 5mm thick flanges + 3mm/ pressure class – with removable plate 3 mm thick + 2 mm / pressure class placed on the milled shaft with seal seats 3 mm thick + 2 mm / pressure class. The handling takes place on double greaseble bearings
–linear tolerance of the seats is less than 0,1 mm
–handling with opposite blades for a correct flow regulation with inversion of the rotation direction of the single shafts.

ROUND AND SQUARE KNIFE VALVES

Knife valves are equipped with movement plate made of sliding material suitable to temperature
– the outwards linear seal has a packing adjustable and replaceable.
Connection flanges are realised with a thickness of 3 mm + 2 mm for each pressure class, with replaceable body.

BYPASS VALVE

Check valve with 3 mm thickness body + 2 mm / pressure class with flanges 3 mm thick + 2 mm / pressure class
– with movement of the central plate through shaft on bearings
– support gasket of the replaceable plate.

Regulation valve that can be placed on the input port of the centrifugal ventilators with movement plates on double greased bearing – with bearings placing on welded supports- coupling flanges with 5 mm thickness + 2 mm/ pressure class – body of 3 mm thickness + 2 mm / pressure class – milled shafts for coupling with linear tolerance lower than 0,1 mm – handling lever with threaded studs, adjustable and replaceable.
