Why Rimor?

This fan series are used to increase the convention of the furnaces for the heat treatment of metals and it’s based on a technology that started to be used from the year 2000, with electric motors with long shaft (without referral or joints) and dissipation systems with air, water or with compartimentations in controlled atmosphere (nitrogen).

Particularly appreciated by customers is the possibility of different geometries that guarantee, at reduced speed, great air flow and the presence of welded or melted series for working with temperatures above 1000°C.

Wide is the choice for solutions regarding the mounting on furnaces with insulated buffers. Good products for their particular performances in terms of efficiency compared to traditional systems.

Agitator type and positioning

Agitators are helical or centrifugal.
Both types can be be placed free in the vault or inserted in the false ceiling of the furnace vault.

The elicoidal ones are more suitable for funaces without upper and lateral inner chambers. Instead the centrifugal ones are usually used where it’s necessary to reach the pieces sideways, also through inner walls, or where high velocities are needed.

Impeller types

According to client request Rimor is able to provide impellers with the most suitable profile and dimension. Besides upon request we offer advanced fluidodinamic simulations for the agitator in every possible operating conditions.

This include cooling and heating transitory analysis and steady state study for convection and conduction inside furnaces, in agitators and shafts.

Sealing systems

It’s possible to choose between N2 fluxed sealing system suitable for furnaces in controlled atmosphere with nitrogen and simple sealing for inner atmosphere using oxigen.

Shaft cooling systems can be :
1. Air cooling suitable for temperatures up to 600 °C
2. Water cooling suitable for temperatures up to 900° C

• Easy components maintenance
• In water-water cooling system the operation is guaranteed even after the breakage of one of the pumps.
